Ans- Yes
Q – 2 ISO layers and what layer is the IP operated from?
Ans- cation, Presentation, Session, Transport, Network, Data link and Physical. The IP is operated in the Network layer.
Q – 3 If you hear the CPU fan is running and the monitor power is still on, but you did not see any thing show up in the monitor screen. What would you do to find out what is going wrong?
Ans- I would use the ping command to check whether the machine is still alive(connect to the network) or it is dead.
Q – 4 Can you be bale to identify between Straight- through and Cross- over cable wiring? and in what case do you use Straight- through and Cross-over?
Ans- Straight-through is type of wiring that is one to to one connection Cross- over is type of wiring which those wires are got switched
We use Straight-through cable when we connect between NIC Adapter and Hub. Using Cross-over cable when connect between two NIC Adapters or sometime between two hubs.
Q – 5 What are the two important TCP Socket classes?
Ans- Socket and ServerSocket. ServerSocket is used for normal two-way socket communication. Socket class allows us to read and write through the sockets. getInputStream() and getOutputStream() are the two methods available in Socket class.
Q – 6 When MalformedURLException and UnknownHostException throws?
Ans- When the specified URL is not connected then the URL throw MalformedURLException and If InetAddress? methods getByName and getLocalHost are unable to resolve the host name they throw an UnknownHostException.

Ans- The Local System’s IP Address and Port Number. And the Remote System’s IPAddress and Port Number.

Ans- A socket is one end-point of a two-way communication link between two programs running on the network. A socket is bound to a port number so that the TCP layer can identify the application that data is destined to be sent.
Socket classes are used to represent the connection between a client program and a server program. The java.net package provides two classes–Socket and ServerSocket–which implement the client side of the connection and the server side of the connection, respectively.
Q – 9 How do I make a connection to URL?
Ans- You obtain a URL instance and then invoke openConnection on it. URLConnection is an abstract class, which means you can’t directly create instances of it using a constructor. We have to invoke openConnection method on a URL instance, to get the right kind of connection for your URL. Eg. URL url;

Ans- A URL instance represents the location of a resource, and a URLConnection instance represents a link for accessing or communicating with the resource at the location.
